Thanks Tzaddi. I’ve been turning to idioms for inspiration since my old ad agency days. As long as the lines don’t get too corny, then this trick still seems to work.

Sue, sometimes headlines are right up there with taglines on the difficulty scale aren’t they? I love yours – “You want files with that?”

What great suggestions! No wonder you are so good at what you do.

To a lesser extent, I do some of these with headlines or subheads for employee newsletter articles. For example, I once used “You want files with that?” as a subheading about students at work for Take Our Kids to Work Day.
