A different kind of investment company, the Diversified Business Group (DBG) has the answer that want-to-be real estate investors have been waiting for—a simple, safe and predictable long-term investment that can serve as the engine of their fortunes.
DBG was looking for a user-friendly site to introduce their real estate investment model to potential investors to demystify the process of real estate investing. A clean, approachable design was conceived by Blue Citrus Design, accessible copy developed by Mud Creative, and site development was executed by Bluelime Media. Eldorado Hotel & Spa
In Spanish, “Eldorado” means The Golden One. For guests of the Eldorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe, New Mexico, “Eldorado” means a memorable visit graced by the art of hospitality. Approaching its 20th anniversary, the stately landmark hotel needed web copy and a refreshed look that supported its AAA Four Diamond Rating.
Mud Creative was selected to work with Brenda McKinney of idesyn to create a web environment with the same elegant tone and manner as the stunning hotel itself. While the original scope of the project is complete, both Mud Creative and idesyn are periodically hired to keep the site current. Click the image to view the site.
yorkregion.com
yorkregion.com is an award-winning community website serving residents and businesses of York Region. It provides community news, event information, movie and real estate listings, and job search opportunities. Unhappy with its page view numbers and search engine ratings, yorkregion.com hired Mud Creative to help make the site more visible to the engines and more valuable to its visitors.
In February 2007, yorkregion.com was receiving just over 750,000 page views with only 76,000 new visitors. Through continual tweaking of the content, development of meta and title tags, plus some PR work, yorkregion.com reached 1,000,000 page views and just over 100,000 new visitors by October 2007. In addition, the site went from a Google ranking of 0/10 to 4/10. Optimization and restructuring work is ongoing, and new service sections are in development to make each visit richer and to boost loyalty. Click the image to view the site.
Out of Chaos
Clutter Consultant Linda Chu is the founding owner of Out of Chaos: Professional Organizing Solutions. Her company offers organizing and de-cluttering services for individuals and large corporations. Linda is also a professional speaker and offers seminars and workshops on the topic of organizing.
The Out of Chaos site was recently reconceptualized by Bluelime Media with a specific request for optimization to improve the site’s rankings. The meta tags, title tags and visible content was optimized by Mud Creative. Out of Chaos now enjoys top, first-page rankings for phrases such as “Speaker on Organizing, Vancouver” and “Professional Organizer, Vancouver.” Click on the image to view the site.
Chakravibe
Chakravibe designs and sells unique, one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces linked by colour to the seven chakras, which are the body’s essential energy centres. This beautiful and serene site was designed by Blue Citrus, and written by Mud Creative to both educate and inspire visitors on how to enhance their beings with colour and centre themselves with positive energy. Lerners Law Firm
A London/Toronto, Ontario law firm with fearless advocates and tireless litigators, Lerners needed a contemporary new web look that reflected the generational range of the firm’s more than 200 lawyers. In addition, the client wanted content that didn’t sound like legal speak, but rather, connected with visitors on a more main street level. Mud Creative was hired by the firm’s agency of record, Link Advertising, to develop the information architecture and write the copy for the dynamic new site. Click the image to view the site.

Steeves & Rozema Retirement Communities
Steeves & Rozema specializes in developing retirement and long-term care communities for seniors in Southern Ontario. The company’s retirement living division required a complete rebranding and new marketing materials. Mud Creative was hired by the company’s marketing consultant, Stride Associates, to provide copywriting services that ranged from the tagline “Leave your cares. Live your life.” to the print collateral to the website. The clean, warm and friendly design was created by Vortex Visual Concepts. Click the image to view the site.
